That's a lesson everyone should learn at this age in life.

Education. Life. Drama. Family strains. The need to succeed. It all gets crammed too much. Life throws terrible things at you, whether you're stressing about how to divide time for your family and job or how you're going to pass that chemistry test, you can drown in it. depression, Anxiety, it all can form.

For the past month I have dealt with so much stress, from both tests and friends. I come home, I plop myself in front of a monitor of any type and stay there. I think. it's all thinking, thinking, thinking...
("God i'm so terrible at pythagoreum therum... is that even how you spell it? oh now, she was a total snob to me today... what was that thing he said? I know it was somthing that ticked me off. I'm so going to get an angry mob to beat those fools. just think, if i got the entire military to go after that one chick- OH! SPONGEBOB!")

then after that, I go to my room, start a string bracelet and not finish it after 5 minutes, lay on my bed and have an invisible shrink ask me questions that i don't answer. well, i answer them in my journal. it really helps me see situations alot clearer.

Thanksgiving break starts tomorrow. so i came home soooo tired... I don't know why, I think it's this depressing weather. so now i'm doing step 2. on the computer. I hadn't been on deviantart in a while...
If you're anything like me, flipping through a few userpages or going over some old artwork is a major wakeup call.I don't know what it is about Deviantart personalities, they're just so... family-like. I feel like I'm snuggling up in a blanket next to a fireplace drink hot chocolate with friends. that's what deviantart feels like. it's always seemed like such a holiday-festive aura.

those two minutes I did that, i realized something that everyone should do at least once every 2 months. drop everything and do what you love.

these past weeks i've managed to make myself avoid painting. i'll say something like, "Oh, i can't draw as good as i used to" or "no, i have no time..." my god, Madi SHUT UP! just DO IT and you'll feel so much better about yourself! and what better excuse do i have to do art other than Christmas!! i haven't even started on presents... >>;
